Join our finance team as an Experienced Bookkeeper for a 2-month contract in Toronto, ON. This position demands detail-oriented bookkeeping skills to maintain accurate financial records.
As a Contract Bookkeeper, you will leverage over 5 years of experience to support various financial tasks.
Your role will include processing accounts, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing payroll entries. You will also liaise with finance team members and external accountants, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Keep accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Conduct regular bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close procedures
• Generate financial reports like P&L statements
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficiency in Quick Books Online (QBO)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
