Project accountant

Position: Project accountant - 6 months
Our Government Affiliated client is looking to hire a Project Accountant to join their Finance team on a 6-month contract . Toronto. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project and operational accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Working in a collaborative environment and partnering with both operational and finance teams to drive accurate financial reporting and decision-making the role will be focused on the following Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis Budgeting & Planning Accounts Payable & Commitments Operational & Project Accounting Additional Responsibilities as assigned from time to time Qualifications Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business. CPA designation completed or in progress. Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in project accounting, real estate accounting, or property management accounting is preferred. Strong knowledge of IFRS.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Job requirements are as follows
