As a vital member of MNP's Cross Border Individual Tax team, you'll utilize your accounting skills and knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax laws. With 1 to 2 years in public accounting or tax services, your role involves preparing U.S. and Canadian tax returns for individuals and aiding in cross-border tax planning. Your contributions help clients maintain compliance while managing risks and optimizing their tax strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare U.S. and Canadian individual income tax returns

• Assist in cross-border income tax and estate planning

• Participate in expatriate policy design

• Advise on tax policy changes and existing processes

• Investigate discrepancies and develop resolutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in commerce or business administration

• Enrolled in CPA Professional Education Program

• 1-2 years public accounting/tax experience

• Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. income tax

• Experience with tax software
