Become an Accounting Manager at Great Gulf in Toronto, Ontario, leading financial operations for our Build-to-Rent division on a 15-month contract basis.
This role focuses on overseeing comprehensive accounting functions, including financial reporting and strategic business analysis. You will support operational excellence by preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance, and mentoring your accounting team. Collaborate across departments to foster a strong financial foundation within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate accounting records for Build-to-Rent
• Prepare annual and quarterly IFRS financial statements
• Liaise with auditors for successful audits
• Support treasury activities and covenant reporting
• Conduct financial analysis for strategic business decisions
Requirements:
• CPA designation with over 5 years of experience
• Proven leadership in overseeing accounting staff
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and ASPE
• Experience in real estate accounting is an asset
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Dynamics 365
