Position: Cross Border Tax Senior Accountant Role
MNP is seeking a Senior Accountant specialized in Cross Border Individual Tax. Play a crucial role in delivering tax strategies while maintaining compliance for clients in Canada and the U.S.

As a full-time member of the Cross Border Individual Tax team, you will provide invaluable tax advice for U.S. citizens in Canada and Canadians in the U.S. The ideal candidate has relevant tax and accounting experience. Your insights will help clients manage their tax obligations and navigate complex cross-border issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee preparation of individual income tax returns for cross-border clients

• Assist in income tax and estate planning strategies

• Provide technical expertise through reports and presentations

• Guide junior team members and lead client engagements

• Collaborate with clients to resolve tax compliance issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, or business

• CPA designation completion preferred

• 2-4 years of public accounting or tax experience

• Proficient in 1040 series and other U.S. tax forms

• Familiarity with Canadian individual income tax regulations
