Position: Hybrid Property Accountant at PenEquity
Elevate your career with Pen Equity Inc. as a Property Accountant in the Downtown Core. Manage and produce financial statements, reconcile accounts, and support tenants through a hybrid work model.

As a key member of the accounting/finance team, you will report to the Manager of Accounting. With responsibilities that include preparing monthly financial statements in line with IFRS/ASPE, maintaining balance sheet accuracy, and producing property budgets, this role is crucial for effective financial management. You will also engage in tenant invoicing and assist with audits and special projects, making it a dynamic opportunity for financial professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce monthly Financial Statements per client requirements

• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts

• Prepare tenant account analyses and operating cost adjustments

• Ensure timely remittance of HST and taxes

• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

• Solid communication and relationship skills

• Organizational skills to manage tight deadlines

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
