- Work Location – Toronto
- Hybrid Environment – Minimum three days in office per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), remaining days remote.
- Salary – $82,800 – $115,000 base; actual amount depends on location and experience.
- Initial Posting Close Date – June 29, 2026
We are recruiting a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our Accounting & Internal Controls team. In this role, you will support financial stewardship and reporting of the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement, including budgeting and forecasting. You will play a key role in the month‑end close process, prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting and analysis, and produce financial statements, monthly management reports, and quarterly/year‑end reporting packages.
Responsibilities- Prepare reporting packages, MD&A, and executive‑level presentations.
- Own balance‑sheet budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support month‑end close activities, including posting entries and ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
- Review income and expense classifications.
- Ensure expenses processed per company policies.
- Prepare monthly adjusting journal entries as required.
- Provide accounting support to internal stakeholders, addressing financial inquiries.
- Maintain and monitor subledger and general ledger controls, ensuring proper documentation and application.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA designation or working toward completion is an asset.
- 3+ years progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis.
- Experience with SAP is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Well‑developed analytical, planning, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate across teams.
