Position: Contract Project Accountant
Explore the role of Project Accountant with our Government Affiliated client on a 6-month contract in Toronto. This position focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, and operational accounting.

Our client is seeking a qualified Project Accountant to enrich their Finance team. This role demands strong skills in accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial analysis while supporting project accounting activities. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of progressive accounting experience and knowledge of IFRS, with a focus on project accounting or real estate accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle financial reporting on various projects

• Perform budgeting and financial analysis tasks

• Manage accounts payable and related activities

• Support commitments and operational accounting

• Undertake additional duties as required

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

• CPA designation completed or in progress

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

• Knowledge of IFRS necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
