On-Site Junior Accountant at Runnymede

As a Junior Accountant, you will support the Finance Department with daily accounting transactions, reconciliations, and comprehensive financial analysis. This temporary full-time position spans approximately 12-18 months and is dedicated to improving patient care through effective financial management. Your contributions will be vital in areas such as payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end journal entries for funding and expenses

• Perform reconciliations of assigned General Ledger accounts

• Complete monthly and annual balance sheet reconciliations

• Prepare financial reports using Excel

• Support capital project accounting and tracking

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Accounting

• Enrollment in or pursuit of a CPA designation is an asset

• Experience in an accounting environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Knowledge of non-profit financial principles
