Position: Technical Senior Accountant at Spellbook
Join Spellbook as a technical Senior Accountant focused on scaling accounting functions in a fast-moving SaaS environment. Own key accounting operations while enhancing multi-entity consolidations and revenue recognition processes.

As the Senior Accountant, you will partner with the VP Finance to optimize financial reporting infrastructure for a global SaaS enterprise. This role requires deep expertise in accounting practices alongside strong problem-solving skills to enhance operational efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in preparing financial statements, managing multiple entities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

• Manage accounting for multiple legal entities across jurisdictions

• Support SaaS revenue recognition for complex contracts

• Prepare for annual financial statement audits

• Enhance accounting processes through automation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA designation strongly preferred

• 4–7 years of accounting experience

• Proficient in financial reporting, consolidations, and revenue recognition

• Advanced Excel and experience with accounting systems
