Our client is a small but rapidly growing company specializing in the painting and finishing of metal products. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team and support day-to-day accounting and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process payroll and payroll-related remittances
Reconcile payroll liabilities
Prepare and file GST/HST and EHT remittances
Assist with corporate tax-related documentation and records
Perform bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping duties
Maintain accurate financial records using Quick Books Online and Quick Books Desktop
Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and administrative tasks
Occasionally assist with banking, local pick-ups, and light shop-related errands as required

Requirements

Proven bookkeeping experience in a Canadian business environment
Strong knowledge of Payroll, Payroll Liabilities, GST/HST, EHT, and Corporate Taxes
Hands‑on experience with both Quick Books Online and Quick Books Desktop
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
