Position: Manager of Accounting for UNIQLO

In this senior role reporting to the CFO, you'll manage the accounting landscape of UNIQLO Canada, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Your experience in a retail or multinational setting will be crucial as you align accounting practices with business operations. Strong collaboration with US and Japan team members will also be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable

• Ensure timely preparation of financial reports and statements

• Optimize accounting systems for enhanced efficiency

• Support monthly P&L reviews and balance sheet analysis

• Guide audits and implement controls for financial integrity

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA

• 7+ years in accounting, including leadership experience

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Canadian tax laws

• Exceptional analytical and communication capabilities

• Proven leadership skills in managing diverse teams
