Join a reputable firm as a Senior Development Accountant in downtown Toronto, ON. This in-office position requires expertise in accounting for high-value residential projects with significant focus on financial reporting.

Our client, a leading residential real estate developer, is hiring a Senior Development Accountant to support comprehensive financial management of projects ranging from $150M to $300M. Collaborating closely with finance and development teams, this role ensures project accounting accuracy and effective budget monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting practices for various development projects

• Manage construction loan draw submissions

• Track costs and capitalized interest for projects

• Prepare financial statements monthly and quarterly

• Support joint venture and investor reporting needs

Requirements:

• At least 2 years in development accounting

• Strong grasp of construction loans and budgets

• Experience with financial statements and JV reporting

• Preferably skilled in Yardi, JD Edwards a bonus

• Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
