** Junior Accountant – Accounting Shared Services
** Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

* Position Overview:

** The Junior Accountant in the accounting shared services at JQI performs the vendor payment runs in the ERP Systems (Business Central, SAP, SAGE 100) and Banks (RBC & HSBC) for all JQI companies in the USA and Canada. Ensuring accurate payments and timely payments.

This role will also perform reconciliations of  various balance sheet accounts for allAs part of the payment process this role will also audit invoice submissions for approvals and sufficient backup.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Prepare and execute payments via ACH and wire on the weekly schedule
* Perform ad hoc wire payments based on terms and business needs
* Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquires
* Work with the business to ensure submissions follow policies
* Monitor the general inbox for submissions
* Perform inventory reconciliations and analysis

* Qualifications:

*** 5 years accounting experience in progressive accounting functions
* Intermediate excel skills, including formulas, pivot
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Solid understanding of the purchasing process and working with the business to ensure a streamlined process
* Detail-oriented with a strong sense of internal control and a passion for policies
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA or CFA designation (or in progress) is a plus
