Asset Management Senior Accountant

Elevate your accounting career with our firm as a Senior Accountant specializing in Asset Management, based in Toronto. This hybrid/remote role involves overseeing accounting for multiple infrastructure projects across Canada and the USA.

In this permanent full-time position, you will manage day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and ASPE. Collaborate with Finance Managers and junior staff, gaining insights into financial modeling and contract management as you guide team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger maintenance and record keeping

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations

• Lead month and quarter end close financial preparations

• Produce quarterly financial statements and ensure project accuracy

• Compile tax schedules for corporate returns

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• 3-5 years progressive accounting experience

• CPA designation in progress

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
