We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly adaptable Senior Accountant to join a growing Family Office. Reporting directly to the Manager of Accounting
, this role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of family-owned businesses, investments, trusts, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain accurate financial records for corporations, trusts, and guardianships across multiple entities

Perform bank and investment reconciliations
, including multi-currency transactions (equities, bonds, LPs, real estate investments)

Record foreign exchange transactions and complex investment activity

Prepare and post month-end and year-end journal entries

Leverage systems including Dynamics 365 Business Central, Quick Books, and Excel

Accounts Payable & Administration

Process invoices, prepare payments, and record transactions

Print and manage cheques and supporting documentation

Maintain well-organized records to support audit, tax, and reporting requirements

Year-End, Tax & Reporting

Prepare year-end working papers using Case Ware/Excel

Assist in the preparation of corporate and trust tax returns (Tax Prep)

Compile supporting documentation for personal tax filings

Support audit processes, including documentation for a small affiliated charity
