Detail-Oriented Accountant

Position: Detail-Oriented Accountant Needed
A leading manufacturing organization is actively seeking a hands-on Accountant to manage accounting and payroll functions in an on-site setting. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day operations.

With a requirement of three-plus years in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in accounts payable management and payroll processing for a diverse workforce. Your responsibilities will include assisting the General Accountant and ensuring organized financial documentation for audits and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice entry

• Support payroll for approximately 20 employees, including unions

• Manage employee records and payroll deductions meticulously

• Assist with journal entries and general ledger tasks

• Perform various administrative duties, including filing

Requirements:

• 3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience in manufacturing

• Payroll processing experience preferred, especially union payroll

• Strong understanding of accounting principles

• Comfortable with ERP systems and Microsoft Office

• Detail-focused and reliable in execution of duties
