As a Senior Financial Accountant, Partnership Operations, you will leverage your expertise to perform complex accounting activities, including reconciliation and analysis of financial information, preparation of journal entries, and review of financial controls in accordance with established policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
This position is fully on-site at the Toronto office

Your key responsibilities
Lead the preparation and analysis of complex financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and regulations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Take ownership of smaller projects and contribute as a key team member on larger initiatives, driving results and delivering value to stakeholders.
Generate timely and insightful reports and presentations for the Executive team, providing analytical support to drive strategic decision-making.
Identify opportunities for automation and technology integration to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing accounting inquiries and providing expert guidance.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Experience:
Must hold a valid CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting
Strong computer literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.

Exceptional time management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
