BDO is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team in Toronto, specializing in asset management for private equity, hedge funds, and venture capital firms. This role emphasizes effective audit engagement according to IFRS and ASPE while fostering client relationships and teamwork. You will take ownership of multiple fund audits, communicate effectively with clients, and contribute to staff training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform audit engagements on asset management clients

• Handle various audit tasks with attention to detail

• Build strong client relationships and manage communications

• Update senior team members on project progress

• Train junior staff and promote professional growth

Requirements:

• CPA designation or in progress

• 2-3 years of public accounting audit experience

• Experience with ASPE files is highly desirable

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication abilities
