Toronto Investment Accountant Position

As part of RPIA’s Investment Accounting team in Toronto, you will ensure accuracy in fund accounting and internal processes. Your expertise in hedge funds and financial reporting will be essential as you manage daily operations and resolve discrepancies. Attention to detail and strong communication skills will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review daily and month-end NAV packages for accuracy

• Analyze and check accounting records for completeness

• Resolve price and position discrepancies

• Prepare financial statements and valuation reports

• Conduct daily wire transfers with precision

Requirements:

• At least five years of hedge fund accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Experience with financial statements and ledgers

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis

• Familiarity with Bloomberg and accounting controls
