Experienced Project Accountant

Utilize your skills as a Project Accountant in a 6-month contract role with our Government Affiliated client located in Toronto. Focus on project accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Our Finance team is hiring an experienced Project Accountant to manage operational accounting tasks. The selected candidate should possess advanced skills in financial analysis, budgets, and accounts payable. At least five years of recent accounting experience is essential, particularly in project or real estate accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate financial reports for project evaluations

• Lead budgeting initiatives and perform analyses

• Manage accounts payable effectively

• Assist in operational commitments and project accounting

• Execute other responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance

• CPA designation completed or currently pursuing

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Proficient in IFRS principles

• Strong Excel skills necessary
