Onsite Senior Accountant in North York

Step into a vital Senior Accountant role at Coreaqua, fully onsite in North York. This 9-month contract involves financial reporting and complex General Ledger accounting tasks.

The Senior Accountant will prepare detailed financial statements and oversee journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. You will also manage cash entries, bank reconciliations, and monitor AP/AR transactions to ensure accuracy for accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Perform complex General Ledger accounting and journal entries

• Review cash management entries and bank reconciliations

• Maintain prepaid expenses and fixed assets schedules

• Support external audit preparation and documentation

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of accounting and finance experience

• Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting

• Progress toward CPA designation is required

• Familiarity with Viewpoint and Spreadsheet Server is an asset

• Strong communication skills with high attention to detail
