We are searching for a motivated Junior Accountant to enhance our financial operations. This full-time role involves processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and collaborating closely with our accounting team. A foundational understanding of accounting principles is essential, particularly within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R)

• Reconcile vendor statements and rectify discrepancies

• Prepare and input journal entries accurately

• Maintain general ledger accounts diligently

• Support payroll preparation and verify employee timesheets

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Familiarity with accounting software like Quick Books or Sage 300

• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

• Understanding of basic construction accounting principles
