Senior Accountant, GP

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a qualified Senior Accountant that has a minimum of 3+ years experience in fund, public accounting, audit, or tax. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of US GAAP and partnership taxation.

• Manage capital calls, distributions, notices, and cash transactions across multiple funds.
• Oversee carried interest reporting and vesting schedules with HR.
• Generate financial statements, capital account reporting, and accounting records.
• Support tax reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Review legal agreements to ensure accurate allocations and reporting.
• Monitor covenant requirements and external reporting obligations.
• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred or in progress.
• 3+ years experience in fund, public accounting, audit, or tax.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and partnership taxation an asset.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills; automation/AI tools preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and handle confidential information.
