Plenary Americas seeks a dynamic Senior Financial Accountant to join its Toronto team. This position provides an opportunity for self-starters aimed at flawless execution of accounting practices. You will focus on financial reporting for intricate Canadian and US projects, working with the CFO and Finance Senior Management to ensure compliance and accuracy in all aspects of the accounting process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS

• Review Project Agreements and monitor cash flows

• Assist with budget preparation and cash flow forecasting

• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors

• Coach Junior Financial Accountants on best practices

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field

• Over 5 years of experience in accounting roles

• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred

• Strong Excel modeling skills required

• Experience in the construction industry is an asset
