Position: Junior Accountant )

Junior Accountant – Hybrid

Responsibilities
  • Complete audit, review or compilation files and related tax preparation.
  • Build effective working relationships with operational client contacts.
  • Respond effectively to client requests.
  • Provide suggestions related to assignments or projects.
  • Handle in‑house assignments such as accounting research or office administration.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 1 year of Co‑Op term experience related to accounting and assurance.
  • 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Completion of a university accounting degree.
  • Working toward obtaining Canadian CPA designation.
  • Basic understanding of IFRS, ASPE, CAS and Canadian tax.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with external clients.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with accounting and tax software such as Quick Books, Caseware, Jazz‑it, Tax Prep and Simply Accounting.
Job Details
  • Hours of work: 35 hours per week, overtime as necessary to meet operational and professional requirements.
  • Location:

    Hybrid work arrangement at 201 Bridgeland Ave, Toronto, ON.
  • Salary: $50,000–$65,000 (competitive market‑based compensation with potential annual bonuses).
