Senior Accounting Associate

Take your expertise to 30 Forensic Engineering as a Senior Accounting Associate in Toronto. This role combines financial management, client interaction, and administrative support on a 12-month contract basis.

The Senior Accounting Associate reports to the Accounting Manager and focuses on enhancing client service while executing accounting duties. You will engage in month-end close activities, manage accounts receivable and payable processes, and implement internal controls.

Your role will also include financial forecasting, compliance with tax regulations, and support for year-end audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in month-end close processes and journal entries

• Oversee accounts receivable and invoicing activities

• Manage accounts payable including invoice reviews

• Develop and maintain internal control frameworks

• Prepare for regulatory compliance and audits

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or related field

• Professional accounting designation preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
