We’re growing — and we’re looking to add an exceptional, highly organized and detail-driven Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the preparation of internal financial reports and maintenance of key accounting functions across the company and its related entities. From managing payroll and commissions to auditing contest displays and handling bank reconciliations—this role offers hands‑on experience with a wide variety of accounting responsibilities in a fast‑paced, professional environment.

Internal Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting journal entries
- Handle bi-weekly payroll and commission processing
- Perform bank reconciliations and enter related journal entries
- Prepare weekly payment batches, ensuring appropriate approvals
- Prepare and maintain A/R and A/P sub-ledgers
- Verify customer billing details for accuracy
- Process vendor payments (cheques, wire transfers, EFTs)
- Ensure proper authorization and documentation for expenses
- Reconcile and summarize corporate credit card payments
- Review and test contest displays monthly to ensure accuracy
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems
- Assist with various accounting-related projects as needed
- Previous internship or experience in a finance/accounting setting
- Knowledge of payroll systems and commission structures
- Experience with financial audits or contest verification a plus
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas)
- Familiarity with accounting systems/software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- A collaborative, professional attitude and eagerness to learn
