Experienced Senior Accountant in Ontario

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Accountant with a focus on fund accounting in Ontario. The role requires expertise in US GAAP and partnership taxation along with reporting skills.

Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in fund management, public accounting, or tax. You'll manage capital calls, oversee financial statements, and support audits and compliance activities, all while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage capital calls and cash transactions across funds

• Oversee carried interest reporting with HR

• Generate financial statements and capital account reports

• Support tax compliance, audits, and reporting

• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred

• 3+ years in fund, public accounting, audit, or tax

• Knowledge of US GAAP and partnership taxation

• Strong Excel and financial systems skills

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
