Position: TRCA Clerk for Accounting Services
Contribute to the TRCA team as a Clerk for Accounting Services in Scarborough, Ontario. This permanent, full-time role supports financial operations and reporting in a pivotal capacity.

You will assist the finance unit with accounts payable and financial transaction processing. The role demands attention to detail in data entry and record maintenance, ensuring precision in the accounting software used. Your ability to balance accounts and generate financial reports will greatly impact daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records accurately

• Assist in the cheque and EFT payment process

• Handle inquiries related to payables

• Balance accounts and resolve any issues

• Match invoices with supporting documents

Requirements:

• College diploma in Business or Finance

• At least 1 year in a financial or accounting role

• Understanding of accounting software for record keeping

• Ability to write clear and concise documentation

• Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel functions
