Accounts Payable Assistant

Position: Accounts Payable Assistant Role
Join our Finance team as an Accounts Payable Assistant to enhance daily transactions and accounting tasks. You will focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties while ensuring accurate financial records.

As an integral member of the Finance team, you'll manage invoice processing, customer payments, and maintain vendor records. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail while assisting with account reconciliations and month-end activities. Your contribution will help streamline the team's operations and elevate overall efficiency in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and match with purchase orders

• Apply and record customer payments accurately

• Maintain organized vendor and customer financial records

• Assist with daily banking activities and reconciliations

• Support month-end and year-end reporting duties

Requirements:

• Diploma or coursework in Accounting or Business

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Previous exposure to accounting or bookkeeping is an asset

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
