As a part-time Bookkeeper with Capitalize for Kids, you'll play a pivotal role in day-to-day accounting and payroll support. This position requires deep bookkeeping expertise, compliance with financial policies, and an ability to collaborate with a remote finance team. Your work will help ensure timely processing of transactions, payroll, and financial documentation critical to C4K's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process full-cycle accounting for transactions and vendor communications
• Manage payroll and HR records accurately each pay period
• Complete month-end closing procedures within required timelines
• Prepare year-end audit documentation and regulatory filings
• Track and reconcile donations and related expenses
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Proficient in Quick Books Online and Microsoft Office
365
• Experience with donor databases or CRM systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-directed with a commitment to confidentiality
