Financial Reporting Senior Manager

Step into a leadership role as a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting with Vaco by Highspring in downtown Toronto. Drive the development of critical financial reports and lead accounting research to support strategic decisions.

This 12-month contract position focuses on ensuring accurate financial disclosures and compliance with IFRS. You will conduct detailed analysis, collaborate with external auditors, and prepare materials for governance committees.

Your role is fundamental in enhancing financial close processes and providing insights on investment-related entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop quarterly and annual financial reports for the organization

• Conduct in-depth accounting research on transactions and standards

• Prepare materials for governance committees and reporting packages

• Collaborate with external auditors for audit facilitation

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for audit and governance

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance

• Professional accounting designation (CPA) required

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial reporting

• Strong technical expertise in IFRS

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting systems
