The Ontario Energy Board is seeking a Co-op Student in their Regulatory Accounting department for an 8-month internship. Candidates should have completed at least one year in an accounting or business-related program and possess strong analytical skills. The role involves supporting accountants in various regulatory accounting tasks, contributing to the setting of just rates for utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist accountants with regulatory accounting tasks
• Create visualizations to support data findings
• Analyze and compile relevant data for reports
• Support ad hoc projects and tasks across OEB
• Collaborate with team members and report managers
Requirements:
• Completion of at least one academic year in related fields
• Relevant coursework in Macroeconomics is advantageous
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• High attention to detail and organizational capabilities
