We are looking for an experienced Group Accounting Specialist to join our Group Operations team at Empire Life.
This role offers hands-on experience in processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and compiling accounting reports. Your contributions will ensure financial accuracy and foster team development through support and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle premium payments and policy refunds
• Reconcile specialty partner billings and resolve differences
• Compile and analyze monthly and yearly financial reports
• Manage tax submissions and reporting effectively
• Deliver accurate payment processing for vendors and clients
Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of financial services industry experience
• Understanding of group benefit contracts
• Ability to manage multiple tasks successfully
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel
