Accounting & Procurement Coordinator

Our client is a Canadian company specializing in safe and environmentally friendly packaging materials who are looking to hire a detail-oriented and hands‑on Accounting & Procurement Coordinator to support our finance and procurement functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a 6-month contract

The Accounting & Procurement Coordinator will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations while assisting with purchasing and procurement activities.

• Manage day‑to‑day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Process invoices, payments, and collections while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support month‑end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure data accuracy across accounting records.
• Assist with general bookkeeping and administrative accounting functions.
• Assist with inventory‑related transactions and procurement documentation.
• Maintain vendor records and support supplier relationship management.

• 3+ years of hands‑on bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Quick Books.
• Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and month‑end processes.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced business environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
