Elevate finance and accounting operations as a Controller with exacare ai in Toronto. This hands-on role emphasizes billing, collections, and month-end processes, requiring onsite involvement three days a week.

Join a dynamic team as a Controller to shape finance functions while closely collaborating with Sales and Operations. With over five years of accounting experience and knowledge of core US GAAP principles, you will enhance operational workflows and data accuracy across systems. Your mission will include developing scalable processes in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own core accounting operations, including billing and collections

• Review customer contracts and manage financial setups

• Maintain finance systems and data integrity across platforms

• Prepare monthly close schedules and reconciliations

• Serve as a key point for external auditors during audits

Requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably at a Big 4 firm

• Strong understanding of month-end close and reconciliations

• Proficient in ERP, CRM, and banking systems

• Experience with scalable process improvement
