Revenue Accountant

Position: Revenue Accountant Role at Prophix
Join Prophix as a Revenue Accountant, where you'll manage invoicing for a global client base and navigate the complexities of revenue recognition.

In this role, you'll be responsible for handling the invoicing cycle, understanding revenue requirements, and supporting month-end processes and audits. You'll collaborate across teams to ensure accurate contract processing and documentation while improving existing procedures. This position is integral to maintaining the integrity of client contracts and invoicing data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own invoicing for annual contracts and services

• Handle month-end close tasks and reporting

• Support audits by providing documentation

• Enhance and document accounting processes

• Resolve issues with the revenue team

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in revenue accounting experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Familiarity with subscription billing and SaaS metrics

• Proficiency with Sage Intacct and Excel

• Strong explanation skills for revenue concepts
