Our client, a growing well established Canadian boutique financial advisory firm, is looking to add a Senior Manager, Accounting to their team in Toronto. This is a high-impact hire supporting the continued growth and evolution of their accounting practice.

The firm offers a unique blend of advisory and accounting services, working with a diverse client base across Canada. With a strong foundation in place, they are now focused on building scalable processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and strengthening leadership within the team.

• Oversee a portfolio of client engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery
• Support and mentor Managers and junior team members, contributing to overall team development
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across the accounting function
• Identify and implement technology solutions and automation opportunities to enhance scalability
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting financial reporting and ongoing business needs
• Collaborate with leadership to improve structure, workflows, and best practices
• Assist in managing offshore resources and optimizing team output

• CPA designated with 5-10+ years of experience in public accounting or a similar environment
• Experience with in a mid-sized or large accounting firm
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and reviewing work
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
• Proven ability to improve processes, implement structure, and drive efficiencies
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide client‑facing advisory support
• Interest in leveraging technology and automation to improve accounting workflows

• Salary range: $110,000 to $150,000 + bonus + benefits
• Hybrid work environment (Toronto-based)
