Responsibilities
- Prepare complex US individual and corporation tax returns and review simpler returns
- Help manage workloads, deadlines, dockets and client relationships
- Minimum 3 (three) years of US public accounting tax experience under supervision of US licensed CPA preferably with one firm
- State or provincial CPA designation or, demonstrated progress toward a state or provincial CPA designation AND completion of US Enrolled Agent (EA) designation program
- Excellent organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Able to work under the pressure of recurring monthly time deadlines
- Ability to identify issues and develop answers through research of US federal and state tax laws using subscription-based libraries
- Good business judgment and the ability to think technically but work practically
- Strong English communication skills both written and verbal
- A team player with manager potential
- State or Provincial CPA Designation
- US Enrolled Agent (EA) Designation
