Position: 30 Forensic Engineering Senior Accountant
30 Forensic Engineering seeks a Senior Accounting Associate in Toronto for a 12-month contract. Provide exceptional support to both external and internal clients while managing various accounting tasks.

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will be engaged in month-end closings, journal entries, and financial statement preparations.

Your role will encompass oversight of accounts payable and receivable, compliance efforts including HST returns, and collaboration during the year-end audit, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct month-end activities, including journal entry preparation

• Oversee accounts receivable and manage credit control processes

• Administer accounts payable functions and payment processing

• Maintain the internal control framework effectively

• Assist with compliance, including HST return preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in accounting, especially in professional services

• Bachelor’s degree with focus on accounting disciplines

• Preferred professional accounting designation

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Deltek ERP is a plus
