For the Fall 2026 semester, Financeit is welcoming an Accounting Co-op Student ready to immerse themselves in essential accounting tasks. Your responsibilities will include posting journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, and supporting lender reporting preparation. Advanced Excel capabilities are crucial in helping you tackle month-end processes and audits efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post daily journal entries accurately

• Reconcile bank accounts and loan portfolios

• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting

• Help maintain the capital assets ledger

• Participate in the annual audit process

Requirements:

• Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of university

• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP

• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting fundamentals

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proactive and detail-oriented work ethic
