Position: Property Accountant Role with Crown
Join Crown as a Property Accountant, focusing on financial management and reporting for a leading real estate firm. Collaborate with management on capital cost analysis and budgets.

In the Property Accountant role, you'll report to the Manager of Property Accounting, providing essential financial insights for Crown's property portfolio. Your responsibilities will include generating financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and preparing year-end audit files. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential as you liaise with property managers and resolve financial inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual Common Area Maintenance and Tax adjustments

• Conduct month-end activities and account reconciliations

• Assist in budget preparation and capital cost analysis

• Respond to inquiries from property management and owners

• Attend financial review meetings to discuss performance

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting or a related field

• 1-3 years of experience in property management accounting

• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of real estate financial systems

• Experience working with Yardi is an asset

• CPA designation or working towards it preferred
