Junior Accountant

Position: Junior Accountant - 1 Month
About the Opportunity

Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet accounts.

Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Support the maintenance of general ledger records and accounting schedules.

Prepare and review supporting documentation for financial transactions.

Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and reporting requirements.

Banking & Cash Management

Process daily cash receipts and payment postings.

Prepare bank deposits and occasionally attend the bank as required.

Reconcile cash activity between bank accounts and accounting records.

Monitor cash transactions and assist with cash management activities.

Accounts Payable Support

Process a low volume of supplier invoices and payments.

Assist with vendor inquiries and account reconciliations.

Ensure invoices are coded and processed accurately.

Administrative Support

Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.

Assist with data entry and financial record maintenance.

About You

2+ years of full cycle accounting experience (bank/account recs, journal entries, applying payments, call customers).

Sage is a strong asset, strong excel.

Very strong communication skills (speaking with customers).

Pay range: $30 - $37 per hour
