Finance & Accounting Analyst in North York

Canadian owned apparel manufacturer seeking a Finance Accounting Analyst in North York, ON.

• Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000/Ann (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: In-office on site
• Employment Type: Temporary to permanent

• Reconcile customer payments, credit card transactions, and investigate discrepancies.
• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including payment posting and vendor reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc reports using Excel and ERP systems to support business decision‑making.
• Participate in ERP enhancements, process improvements, automation initiatives, and documentation of procedures.
• Provide support across finance operations, including payroll administration and cross‑functional coverage as required.

• 1‑5 years of accounting, finance, co‑op, internship, or related experience.
• Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• CPA designation in progress, recently completed, or an interest in pursuing CPA is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an asset.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and develop.
