Position: Hybrid Payroll Tax Specialist at Marsh
Join Marsh's North America Payroll Tax team as a Payroll Tax Specialist in Toronto with a hybrid work setup. This role focuses on Canadian payroll tax compliance using Workday and ADP Smart Compliance.

In this position, you'll play a vital role in the accurate preparation of payroll tax returns and reconciliations. Bringing at least five years of payroll tax experience, you will ensure adherence to Canadian tax regulations. Collaborate effectively with analysts and senior peers in a high-performing environment dedicated to compliance and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Canadian payroll tax payments accurately and on time

• Lead reconciliation for Federal/State/Local and Provincial authorities

• Research and respond to complex payroll tax inquiries

• Maintain and update Payroll Tax SOP documentation

• Communicate effectively to meet customer service SLAs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 5+ years of payroll tax and ops experience

• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax regulations

• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
