Position: Harlo Entertainment Financial Controller Job
Harlo Entertainment is hiring a Financial Controller in Toronto, responsible for managing accounting and corporate reporting across our luxury hospitality brands. Expertise in IFRS/ASPE and financial processes is essential.

This leadership role on the Finance Team emphasizes managing the full accounting cycle while supporting various ventures across our portfolio, including brands like Kasa Moto and Mimi Chinese. You will report directly to the VP of Finance, guiding the preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Your role also involves fostering relationships with an array of financial partners to guarantee cohesive financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle month-end close and reporting processes

• Collaborate with external accountants for timely deliverables

• Lead the creation of accurate financial statements

• Analyze accounts for discrepancies and accuracy

• Support team training for enhanced financial understanding

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5-7 years in accounting, with 3 years in a national firm

• Strong knowledge of accounting software

• High proficiency in Excel

• Outstanding communication and detail orientation
