Position: Harlo Entertainment Financial Controller Role
Become part of Harlo Entertainment’s Toronto team as a Financial Controller, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and managing the accounting cycle effectively.

As a Financial Controller, you will oversee the complete accounting process and collaborate with external partners to guarantee timely and accurate financial statements. This is a pivotal role within the Finance Team, which requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and a proactive approach to meet reporting deadlines. Your contributions will play a vital role in the effective financial management of all Harlo entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct month-end close processes for diverse assets

• Liaise with external accounting firms for accurate reporting

• Lead the preparation of consolidated financial reports

• Analyze discrete accounts for errors and resolutions

• Maintain compliance with legal and tax requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5-7 years of experience, 3 years with a national firm

• Expertise in accounting software and systems

• Advanced Excel skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Strong communication and organizational abilities
