Position: Financial Administrator Role with Church of the Redeemer
Become the Financial Administrator for the Church of the Redeemer, a meaningful part-time position located in downtown Toronto. Contribute your financial skills to a community-focused parish while maintaining compliance in a hybrid setup.

Reporting to the Incumbent and Board Chairs, this role emphasizes both accurate bookkeeping and detailed financial reporting. You will interact with church staff, external auditors, and the parish's accounting firm, ensuring the parish's financial health aligns with its mission. Your professionalism will be key in presenting budget realities to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial records and reconciliation tasks

• Prepare financial reports for church and ministry activities

• Handle payroll and employee benefit payments

• Collaborate on budget preparation with church leadership

• Attend necessary meetings, including evening sessions via Zoom

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or business

• Proven experience in nonprofit accounting

• Familiarity with accounting software, such as Tel Pay and ADP

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Strong communication skills for non-financial audiences
