AP Accountant - 3 months temp to perm

About the Opportunity

• Reconciliation of various accounts on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis as required.
• Review journal entries and perform reconciliations as needed.
• Perform daily activities related to intercompany transactions.
• Review balance sheet monthly, adjust accruals and prepaid accounts as needed.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, and GL reconciliation.
• Process and reconcile merchandising purchase orders (POs) and GFNR (Goods not for resale) invoices
• Perform 3-way matching: PO, goods receipt, and vendor invoice
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting and COGS postings
• Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or merchandising
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an asset
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, Merchandising POs is a strong asset

$28 - $30/hour
